Nowhere Else But Here by Rachel Cotton is a sweet, teen romance with elements of mystery that will entertain readers until the very last page.

After participating in a search to find Theodore Lockhart, a missing classmate who has run away from home, Rose Valentine is shocked to find him standing on her doorstep. She agrees to let him stay, unaware of the consequences her actions will provoke. The relationship between Rose and Theo is engaging, helped along by the wit and humour of Cotton’s writing.

Rose is an extremely relatable heroine, struggling to make her own way through school unsupervised by her busy parents. While her rocky relationship with Theodore forms the backbone of the novel, her relationship with her parents is also explored, leading to emotional scenes of conflict and reconciliation.

This is a fantastic debut from author, Rachel Cotton, and fans of John Green and Jandy Nelson will love Nowhere Else But Here.
